I know the Feeling

 I know this feeling, 

almost like a dream, 

awakens the spirit 

teaches the soul to sing.

Crosses the mountains

taking barriers down, 

to reach on out and 

feel more than your hand.

Call it whatever you want

but I know the difference

of a gift of love sent from 

the heavens above.

Gives me a reason

to wake in the morn, 

and see what the day 

will have in store. 

Gaze out the window

as the snow falls in place

knowing your love 

puts a smile on my face.

I know the feeling 

that draws two as one, 

a special connection

of a forever love.
