Merry Christmas

Hold on to the magic
and never let it go,
like a child of faith,
remember how

The warmth that you
feel, the tenderness of

so very much.

As a child I looked on at the Christmas holiday as a peaceful time of year. But as I have gotten older I realize hell doesn't stop for many. War, hunger, car accidents, illness, the wrath of mother nature, crime will all have an affect on the world around us. Yet Christmas comes with a message, the message of hope through faith. Can you imagine a world that operates according to the plan according to the angels of goodness?
As I have taken more of interest in reading history, you find that history does indeed repeat itself. That is a scary thought , because the human history is one of greed and violence. My wish for all this Christmas is that everyone find through faith the message of hope and have a holiday that is governed by peace.

I believe in angels,
in dreams that come
true. That the gift is
in the giving and that
and that love will see
us through.

I finally finished that last piece of wallpaper. Yes ! I am the queen of procrastination. I have the music on and I laughed as a song came on,  and yes it was an older one " I'm gonna sit right down and write myself a letter and pretend it came from you." Smiling I guess I wont go that far, but a poem would be nice.

To feel the softness of your skin
with my hand against your cheek,
 the magical warmth of breath as
your lips to mine meet.

From heart to heart the gateway
that unlocks all our dreams,

Happy New Year! 2013

The irony is that we celebrate a new beginning in the middle of winter and that our real renewal comes with spring.  I find it difficult to move forward with change when feeling like a bear in hibernation. But never the less the day will come and we will celebrate the beginning of a new year. 

Usually this time finds me wanting to reflect on the past, but this year I feel more of a desire to dwell on where we are going. It's is that crystal ball syndrome, wanting to see tomorrow.  Interlocks with heart and soul , the journey yet to unfold. 

The calender controlling

documents a day, but it 

is in the heart that leads

us down the road where

tomorrow awaits.

The gentle flutter in my heart whispers the words of love, 

directed by the heaven above, sent on the wings of a dove. 

The quest was aimed  directly at you, so I put in my 

gps the words "I love you "and to you the birds flew. 

The weather contributed in giving to us the blue, the 

sunshine warm shining bright anew, a puffy white
cloud where lovers dance by two.

 In life we think about gifts as the little surprise packages that come nicely wrapped in pretty paper and bows and knowing that someone special for one moment thought about you enough to surprise you with something they think you will treasure. Over the years I have learned that gifts come in many kinds of packaging and are  far from the traditional packaging  of tissue and bows. So this poem is about the  few the gifts that are given that have altered my life and give to me  new perspective on the joy of living.

There is the gift of acceptance, 
I am just me being me and then
the surprise that its not all that
unique and separated only by
our ablities and dreams.

The confidence to be anything,
and make those goals come true
and the ability to hold my hand
and stroll our whole life through.

The laughter that only friends can

share and the happiness a treasure,

that proves we both do care. 

The gift of love which holds me in 

the night and whispers in my ear 

that everything will be alright.

The glory of a day, the energy 

that leads the way, the magic

that your bring in the most 

exciting way.

We created our heaven, we built it out of the blue and from a grain of sand a castle strictly made for two. Roses in the garden, daisy's on the hill and hand in hand we stroll where eternity rules the heart and makes it repeat the words of " I love you". Locked in the moment in the souls sweet embrace I gaze into your eyes and    from my lips a kiss to yours I tenderly place.

Deep in the forest beneath the evergreens, I lay my body upon the needles and my soul I set it free. I reach up  to the heavens and in the starry night I dream that you are lying in the needles next to me. The darkness places a blanket but no fear touches me for I am in the arms of love, where I was truly meant to be. 

I could feel the change of season in July and there was no doubt that Mother Nature refused to follow the calendar. Though it seems as if we have had so much rain, the hills are still very dry and the creek bed layered  with stone is limited to a few pools of water sporadically spread about.

The Song of Autumn

Summer now in passing and Autumn on its way,
cool in the night and sweltering in the day.
Sunflowers stalks tall reach to the sky and
the blooms of gold a gift that cannot be denied.

The song birds no longer matting and the rooster
confused knows not when to crow as the days
are getting shorter with the sun setting sooner
and only the stars now in sight.

The branches of the apple arch to the ground
heavy with harvest, the apples weigh it down.
Shades of red and green and a touch of gold,
a sight to be seen as the end of summer unfolds.

The song of Autumn is more like a goodbye,
for it is in transition from summer to winter skies.
Goodbye to the tree frogs, the crickets on a hot
summer day, goodbye to the blue bird who quickly
flies away.


Sings>Nothings gonna keep our feet on the ground, I am not worried about the raindrops of Autumn falling down. I have my sunshine as long as I am with you, for you have brought me happiness and I dearly love you.

Nothing's gonna stop us from soaring the blue, we have crossed the barriers built to block our love from getting through. We don't need the devil and his foolish consent, for in our hearts is love from the moment we first met.

Mother earth can champion with time to erode

Poetry and Prose of my Heart

As basic as our need for food and shelter is our need to be loved. How one receives and expresses love is as diverse and unique as each individual. As I went about feeling jars with homemade rose petal scrub my mind seemed preoccupied with my own experiences with the emotions that are brought on my sharing a moment of passion. There were many images that cast scenes that were deeply infused with the power of love, Your hands on top of mine as I do the dishes, your arms around me as I feel the jars, turning around and looking into your eyes as our lips meet up for a kiss. The quick glimpse at the inner working of love in motion reveals how love for one another can be felt and shared throughout the day.

Love is appreciating not only the traits in which a person has in common but admiring the differences that provide us with a glimpse of individual strengths. Sharing in a moment that creates a true atmosphere of happiness. I do believe that as children we are taught the first basic steps in how to share or not moments of affection. A simple hug, a tender kiss, acknowledgment by reinforcing our love for one another. The ways to express our needs vary and how we communicate opens doorways to not only accepting such love but returning our love.

There is an energy, I normally refer to it as a connection, but all in all, it is not something we actually do or say, but something we feel. It is at the very center of our core as a human being and is revealed to us when we can be ourselves and find the ultimate in acceptance. It is the time when you don't have to think about what your saying and there are no such thing as mistakes,just lessons of life.

When I wake up in the morning you're the first thing on my mind,

wanting to kiss you and embrace your heart with mine. Living and

loving the way its meant to be, wanting to please you that is what
I dream.

When I go about my work, I wonder how you are. My mind can't

stay busy enough and so it's drift to happier times. Sharing a

smile, singing a song or two, dancing under blue skies and

simply loving you.

When I prepare to meet the stars of night, I thank the Lord for

the chance where the road crossed and we collided you and I.

You make this life worth living and when I close my eyes at

night, the dreams all begin again.

Every now and then I think about the various combinations of the limited words of the human speech. Interchangeable expressions of the experiences of love. I am ever so reminded why I record our love and the deeper meaning of the moment surfaces. Unselfish, warm, kind, passionate filled desire rise to the occasion . You not only have a place in my heart, but you are the moment, the magic that draws on the passion and that is why I love you so.

with each day, to feel that tenderness that I have

come to know like a hug that just wont let go.

Summer silenced by the autumn scene,
flowers fading and the mountains colors scream.

The river rages, the waters mighty high, carrying
my love through heart, soul and mind.

Feel gentle the energy of so precious a desire,
it dances in the heavens and sets the stars afire.

Magnetic the pull that brings you to me, zap and
there I found I was living in a dream.

Today is the unbirthday, birthday party, I feel like I'm in romper room and what is it I see... looks through the looking glass.

I didn't see the physical, but I surely felt the fire, it melts the strongest of hearts and created such desire. The window to your eyes was bolted lock and key, but I saw something else, from your heart I saw the dream.

I hungered for so long to feel your embrace, the more you gave, the more I chased. Simple pleasures was all that I desired, a walk in the park and a kiss after hours.

It's a daylight moon cast for all to see, it shines in the blue sky and is full with our dreams. Take my hand and stroll along the earthly shore and than take my heart and dance on heavens floor.

The Creation of Love

The stars in the heaven cast a place for you and me,
the reflection of the moonlight dances soft and magically
upon the sea. If you look deeply inside, this is what you
will find, the embrace of love sung loudly, from
the moment you said yes to me.

The fireplace is a blaze and warmth invites for us to lay, silence broke only by the beat of our hearts.Your head gently rest, with love against my chest, as I stroke tenderly your forehead so ever close to me.The taste of your sweet lips and the magic of and power of your kiss, placed me under your spell..A quick glance and I see the worlds embracing you to me, a tapestry of snowflakes and mountains, stitched into the landscape. With the wind and sun coming together, in a celebration of the bonding of souls. Copious the thoughts bounce from earth to the heavens to embrace what others have not. Magnificent a love, more beautiful then any emotion recorded in the history of time.Close your eyes once more and feel closer then imaginably possible, the existence of two, magically entwined into one, the best of you and me. The display on a common carpet setting is a less then common sight, the magic that view, the mystery I knew is the combination of us two, With eyes tightly shut the view will come to be ,the creation of love , the explosion in our dreams.

faster then a wild pumpkin vine.

In Unity

The Carolina wren nest in the corner of the porch, as she has done every year since I moved here. Each morning I glance out of the doorway to greet her as she flitters about finding food for her young! A barely noticeable drizzle of rain gently falls upon the surrounding hills of the hollow. Cradled in a bed of melancholy emotions, the wonders of nature were quick to remind me of the essential ingredient of a partner. The seasonal changes bring with it hope of a new beginning, a rebirth that invites the heart to look beyond the past pains of yesterday and welcome a new tomorrow that is layered with a path of hope and faith .
Shaken by a chill of thought that as I reached for your hand you were reaching back. The journey not traveled alone, as the spirit of hope cast you into the path and the spirit of faith bonds our souls.

One does not a paradise make!

The ability to share the path laden with hopes and dreams opens the gate of love and bond the hearts through the trials of life. In unity the traveled path is
not a ache of yesterday, it is a glimpse of tomorrow.
