Make new memories
and call it a day,
time filled with laughter
in a joyous way..
Perfect weather
sunshine at its best,
the rain held off
and we are all so blessed.
Friends and family
all gathered for fun,
swimming and sharing
till the day was done..
Can't cry on what can't be
yesterday is but a memory,
got to pick up the moment
while holding on to the dream.
We are an accumulation of our experiences.
Everyone has at least one story, some more than others.
The beautiful experience are like a buoy, I often reach for them.
The body's reaction tells all, I guess that is what they call " gut instinct"
When I think of you I still get that warm fuzzy feeling.
Most people judge by the outer shell but there is a lot more to being human.
I can only be responsible for my own feelings .
I marvel at the return of the seasons...life goes on.
One sky above us,
your stars are mine,
I'll take this forever
if forever makes you
mine.
No distance between us
our souls can't part,
for you found your place
right here in my heart.
It's not when we are looking
those gifts throughout life,
that challenge the heart
and toy with the mind.
Like a complicated puzzle
each piece will somehow fit in,
it's up to us to decide
when and where it all begins.
Each day added to years
chapters to my own ears,
all of my thoughts are different
not all of them heaven sent.
There is no winning or losing
the experience is always moving,
when you no longer feel the
emotions have met up with the end.
I've the turned another page
as if yesterday died in its own way,
cleared the canvas of thought
no more lessons need to be taught.
Waking up to a day that's new and
a sky above that is certainly blue,
there is sunshine here in my heart
I reckon that you played a part.
All of the darkness faded away
and only the goodness remains,
I said goodbye in my own way
as I begin a new chapter today.
