Nothing can steal the laughter,
I shall not lose sweet song
and though we are distanced,
your love is in my heart.

Our paths no doubt different,
line with heart break and fear,
but as I reach on out for you,
only tender love is to be shared.

Rest your eyes upon the moment,

Each time I wake up and I open my eyes, your love fills my heart and your all that is on my mind. My dearest dreams create a silhouette of two, embracing lovers cast out against the sky so blue. My heart hears music, the song that lovers sing, removes the silence by sounds of love. No matter the distance nor the places traveled, your love is a part of me and forever it will be.

Each time I wake up and I open my eyes, your love fills my heart and your all that is on my mind. Thoughts of peace descend from the heavens, like angels softly singing as our love perseveres. I feel it daily , the magic never wanes as it strengthens day by day. Reach out and touch me, my hand is waiting for you, to pull you close to me and whisper words of love.

Each time I wake up and I open my eyes, your love fills my heart and your all that is on my mind. I stand a top the mountains, level with the tree tops, amazed of the beauty seldom seen. I'll take you with me, no loneliness for you and I, we are here to endure and reach out with our minds.

I think it is amazing the emotions that

 become an expression of love.

It's not what surrounds you,

nor the dark and gray, 

the special gift of happiness,

in the heart remains. 

Like sunshine melting snowflakes,

rain on a summer day, 

the seasons in passing gathers

memories as it laysits claim.

Friendship can pass it need not remain, 

but you my love are different, you're 

 in my heart to stay.

I outlived my sister by almost twenty years. It makes you take a closer look at time, vulnerability, goals, choices and the words left unsaid. Writing has been away of documenting my emotions and for those who care or don't, away of letting the world know the magic of love. If tomorrow never comes, the words would remain the same " I love you"

Rainbows an anchor, 

the rays of sun a guide.

that the day might be done,
friendship needs nurtured
and touched by love.

Like a rose blooming,
its floral a delight,
reminds me of the treasure,
blooming day and night.

of compassion from a far.

The treasures are many to see,

I find myself caught between the dreams,
wondering about the yesterdays and what
they all mean.

One foot atop the mountain, one foot in the
stream and my heart with you, wherever that
maybe.

I traveled places and there was people I met
on the journey of life, I sometimes failed the
test.

There was days of sunshine and a few filled
with storms, but all that I asked was a day
in the norm.

I find myself caught between the dreams,
wondering about the yesterdays and what
they all mean.

Companions of a place in time

This is what I know,
nothing lives forever,
but maybe a cockroach.

The grass only stays
green if you continue
to water it.

That the stars are infinite,
the more of them you
count the more there is
to count.

That is wonderful to love
but even better when that
person can love you back.

Every person we come in
contact with walks away
with a part of us, lets
hope its a part worth
walking away with.

The older you get,
the more your perspective
changes. What was once
important lacks the
necessary element
of necessity.

I still want to wake up
being loved, but it's not
so important that I would
change or give up who I
am to have it.

Dreams are like a vehicle to
takes us to places we might
never get a chance to visit.

Thinking you can is the first
step to knowing you can, but
doing it is crucial, whether you
fail or succeed.

Experience is the great lessons
of life, without it we are merely
empty souls.

I would have rather cried , felt
sorrow and heartache than
than to have never challenged
life.

Everything is disposable, what we
find of importance means very little
to those we leave behind.

Treasures are meaningless unless
someone wants what you have,
other than that its just an object.

I would rather laugh and cry
than walk through life blinded
and without emotion.

Once you find love, nothings
compares , but than again you
shouldn't go around comparing.

I don't write so others read, I
document so others don't forget.

Beyond Average

Standing atop the mountains,
windmills in place and my
heart is beating as my
memories are traced.

Into the dreams that bring
you near an  escape into that
special place that you and
I have magically shared.

and the sun above the clouds has to say goodbye,
than I'll whisper to the winds to send to you
my love, encapsulated forever in the stars above.

Nothing could be more meaningful or wonderful
to me than the memories of love and the magic
of our dreams. The road laced with heartache and
fear, till I reached out once more and felt your love near.

If today found me on the last page of the book and
the words were all written and the chapters all took,
I'd take the clouds and rearrange them so, that every
time someone gazed upon the heavens our love would
glow.

I am not afraid but sad am I that life is shortened and
that everything must die.Left behind are memories
and all that love can do, as time the greater challenge
and all that is left will be the blue.

and the beauty of freedom.

You can never lose love, though time may change and people age , the experience of love becomes an integral part of who we are. We are like a flower that blooms waiting on another moment to show off our beauty. Like a star that is infinite for once touched is eternal. Like a dream that awaits the night.

      I would be lying if I told you

       I adjusted to waking up alone.

If someone told me this would be my life,
 I would have said you are ...

I was once told  life could be a whole lot worse and I had to think I still have a roof over my head
and food in the cupboard and my children have grown to be a productive part of society. I guess they are right it could be worse.

Some people can have sex with anyone,

but making love now that is special.

I have been on the other end close to death,

and I was willing to say goodbye.

Only love can break a heart...

I have succeeded in that I am
 somebody to someone.

I wondered about this great plan, because it has so many emotions attached to it. I have felt fear, sadness, heartbreak and on the up side, I have embraced happiness , peace, love and kindness. But when it is all said and done, it is loneliness that hurts the most.

It is not what I saw that swept me off my feet,

it was what I felt... and I felt love.

I have tried to control my health, because that walk on the beach belongs to me... wipes tears. I stand corrected , that walk belong to you and I.

~

I have seen such devastation from nature and I wondered how can someone recover from the loss of life and home and I realized they don't.

~

 

Finding Peace

It is one of those warm early mornings where you find yourself not wanting to get out of bed. There is a silence that is broken only by the hum of the fan. As I  gaze out the window, I find the suns rays upon the leaves to bring out the varied colors of green. The visual picturesque like the canvas of life. It is at this moment that within my mind I can escape the worries of the moment.
I took to the heavens in the skies of blue and upon the clouds I sat waiting for you. I closed my eyes and I imagined you here, the love of my life in a moment to share. I envisioned the dreams of love where you can hear the angels singing of our special love. There is never a good bye and no hello's, for you are in my heart where ever I go.
