Rain

Rain will fall and
clouds will pass by
but there'll be no sunshine
till you're by my side.

Tears will fall and
the ache will remain
until your arms
forever I'll lay.

Raindrops

I raced away to memories,
childhood ones at that,
feet splashing in the puddles
with raindrops on our back.

Days where nothing mattered
and nights that hell command,
summoned up the images
of some God-forsaken plan.

I raced away to memories,
childhood ones at that
hiding tears with laughter
in some heaven and earth pact.

Harvest

Love is like a golden harvest,

with gifts of happiness and joy.

 The harvest season
 it quickly nears
 with moments of love
 we stopped to share.

Deep my heart
a part of my soul,
when you reached out
and took a hold.

Bright summer morning,
oh what can I do?
I need his laughter and
his love so true.

Shining down from the heavens,
gives life to the day
as your love in my heart
glows in a special way.

Memory

I am taking on a dream,
conjuring up skies of blue
walking on a wish to
be there next to you.

Humming a song
lyrics don't mean a thing
for nothing need be written
all is secured to memory.

I can feel the magic
and the warmth of your love,
as if we were truly meeting on
those puffy clouds above.
