Rewrite Eternity

This must be an old age sleep schedule. Nap in the day and can't sleep at night. It is a very quiet evening , I can't believe the tree frogs and crickets finally went to sleep. Well nothing better than documenting love.  Fingers to the keyboard and my heart to yours.

Me and You

It was in 2005 that I started blogging and wrote my first post "Through Rose Colored Glasses". While driving the road today my sunglasses had a rose pink tint and I laughed to myself as I thought of the first time I wrote, "through rose colored glasses." It might seem a bit naive especially in the state of world at the moment but there is so much joy and beauty that it takes back stage to the negativity. But all in all I can still see and feel the goodness in the world.

The grass is much greener

I fell asleep after work to wake up at 2 am. For a change my mind is semi-blank. I am not sure but that may be a good thing. There is such silence and just a slight breeze through the window. It is cooler than the typical early August and that comes with mixed feelings as it reminds us another season will soon be passing.

There is a chill in the air

Ah ha moment

Like the song " I know I'll never love this way again/" I was asked all kinds of questions when I was at the farmers market. I don't usually open up about myself , my experience and the love of my life. Liz is our market manager, she is young , full of life and a beautiful spirit with way to many questions. The weather was near perfect and as I sat next to her sharing the moment I felt an excitement and calm at the same time. You deserve so much more, why this and why that ? Question after question. I had some answers for her  and she responded " you love your children!" Though I am not sure they will ever understand or get the whole sacrifice thing.
I have been in an odd mood these last few days so much running through my mind. I am not quite sure what it all means. Can't change yesterday , today is on the move and we have to wait till tomorrow to see what it brings.

The Answer Book

I always thought it would be great if there was an answer book for life. Chapters that revealed the alternatives and possible outcomes.  It seems easy to hold on to the past good or bad and much more difficult to know the future.
I have always been a bit of weather connected. Thriving on sunshine and melancholy when it rains. Maybe because rain means you are usually stuck indoors and that gives a person way to much time to think. I have scanned chapters of my life, laughed a little and cried a little and I actually feel a bit angry with my own decision making. But you can't change the "what is"I call it a scream in silence day.

You know how you freeze a moment. I was standing at the sliding glass doors, the willow overgrown and the ducks quacking. It was at this moment that I felt so close to you and yet somehow separated by the pane of glass. The aftermath of holding emotions in over the years resorts in a release of tears that somehow helps the soul make it through another day. It reminded me of the poem I had written so many years back " The weight of a tear" .  So much has had happened over the years, a blend of good and bad that we shared from a distance. Death of families members, adventures in business, sharing of the heart and the embracing of the soul. The memories flood in a way that becomes a way of cleansing as if the moments in time grew wings like a butterfly and took to the heavens.
Music has a way of triggering a memory or the emotions that come with memories. Sometimes it feels like yesterday and other times like a million light years away.  There is irony when you listen to a song and you relate knowing a zillion other people relate. Impossible for anyone to experience the exact trials and triumphs. That statement is indeed true that no two loves , romance memories are identical even though they can take a song and make it their own.
