Dogs are barking
at the kitchen door,
I opened it up not
knowing what's in
store.
Skunk is raiding
the chicken coop,
as the dogs chasing
were quickly duped.
The smell wafting
thru the country hills,
I wouldn't count this
as a old folk's thrill.
The dogs and I need
a tomato bath as they
jumped in my lap ,
I had to laugh.
