You and I

Send the rain and the snow
let that wind in it's fury blow,
the clouds a bit wicked while
the skies are dark and gray.

The season a bit fickle
might not know which way to go,
but as long as I have your love
my sunshine never goes.

You're the laughter in my day
that overcomes the snow and rain,
you're the joy in my life
that makes the world seem right.

Send the rain and the snow
let the wind in it's fury blow,
the clouds a bit wicked while
the skies are dark and gray.

It might be the heavens
that rule the outer hemisphere,
but our paradise in the making
only needs what you and I share.

We have that special something
and it gets me through the day,
my sweet, my love, my sunshine
it is your kindness that remains.

Send the rain and the snow
let the wind in it's fury blow,
the clouds a bit wicked while
the skies are dark and gray

But here in our world
where only love can be found
warm rays of sunshine
are felt as they beam down.
