Tonight...

 It's amazing the joy you bring me, 

even though you're not here, 

I felt the love we share 

in the dreams that bring you near.

I'll try to explain it 

the feelings that I have, 

somehow just knowing you 

make this heart beat so fast.

The magic that we share, 

the feelings that you once cared, 

bring a sense of peace like a 

dream coming to life here.

There something that holds me to you,

like the mystery of the heavens 

that makes the sky above us 

a perfect kind of blue.

I felt it through the dream

it was a simplicity of sort,

a normal kind of day and 

you and I finding our way.

I shared with you my family

and a friend or two but it was 

the strangers that we talked with

that the magic of it came through.

It didn't fade away like many dreams do,

it stayed with me through the day and

brought a comfort and warmth that 

made this love of ours true.

I knew at that moment 

no matter where you are.

that you are always with me 

as if we were two colliding stars.

First came this explosion, 

then the distance set on in, 

from love to tears a journey

a story without and end.

This chapter might only include dreams,

and that is okay with me, 

for no one can take away the happiness

that the memories will bring. 

I'm not writing this chapter, 

I am grateful for the day 

and when I close my eyes tonight

it's in your arms I'll lay.
