amazed at the starry sight,
stars strategically scattered
as if uniting us by light.
My emotions racing
not knowing which way to go,
but I gathered strength in knowing
that you are very close.
My days were long and troubling
in the lonely years of my yesterdays,
until our paths collided and you
invited me to stay.
I rejoiced in celebration
for al the time we've shared
knowing in my solitude
that from your heart you cared.
I gazed unto the heavens
