The flower forever blooming
from winter through spring,
is one of those little pleasures
that is very seldom seen.
It grows along the hillside
where trillium will soon bloom
a treasure of the season
canvased against the blue.
I share in the little treasures
that nature sends our way,
as a simple way of uniting
your soul to mine each day.
