Our place upon the earth, though small and meaningless to many, contains the lessons of ones experiences within a short time. Here I rest, nurturing my soul as time unravels revealing all and nothing. I indulge in all that is, from my love for life and all that exist. Yet I find a restlessness that brings me to my knees, as I contemplate another day which becomes a first and a last.
Running far, running fast,
and my feet standing still,
reaching and reaching
beyond the Catskills.
I refrained from the tears
that I held inside, as I
felt your love embrace
like the angel divine.
