Ribbon

I dreamt your hands untying
the ribbon from my dress and
to the floor it had quickly fallen
revealing my bare breast.

I stood before you speechless
with my heart and soul exposed,
a sweet reminder of such a love
that continues to grow.

The song of love from my lips
sung to your ears alone,
beautiful as they can be,
unite our souls and set them
free.

Silence had suddenly taken over
the wind now barely moves,
I am trapped in this moment
where dreams place this vision
on loan.

I dreamt your hands untying
the ribbon from my dress and
to the floor it had quickly fallen
revealing my bare breast.

~

It might be the warmth
of a hot summer day,
I lay about daydreaming
in this most unusual way.

Can't seem to move
I'm frozen as can be,
wishing you were here
lying next to me.
