I appreciate those who read on a regular basis and those who feel free to comment and email me. I love poetry and its ability to take a small moment blend it with reality and fantasy to create an escape that to me is comforting. I am amazed at those who finds some amount of joy in reading my escape or is it my declaration of love, for I have loved and I love and I feel that love returned ten fold.
I have written for years and so if you haven't gone through the archives, feel free to do so. I believe there is power in holding the positive in your heart and not allowing negativity a hold . On a scale of 1 to 10 life is a ten, it doesn't mean we don't have struggles by all means struggles are what takes us to another plateau.
I don't want to get all emotional and cry here or I'll have to change my eye patch. I just want to say thank you, thank you for being my angel.

It's me again, Rachel
I have something I want to share with you, maybe your son might like it.
It was a poem that was written by Mother Teresa and I read it every day and find it to be so beautiful.
Here it is ...
Life is an opportunity, benefit from it
Life is beauty, admire it
Life is bliss, taste it
Life is a dream, realize it
Life is a challenge, meet it
Life is a duty, complete it
Life is a game, play it
Life is costly , care for it
Life is wealth, keep it
Life is love, enjoy it
Life is a mystery, know it
Life is a promise, fulfill it
Life is sorrow, overcome it
Life is a song, sing it
Life is a struggle, accept it
Life is a tragedy, confront it
Life is an adventure, dare it
Life is luck, make it
Life is too precious, do not destroy it
Life is life, fight for it!
Isn't that lovely!
Well, a busy day ahead of me.
Take good care.
Please give your son my congratulations on his graduation and my best wishes for a wonderful life ahead of him!
As always
Margie:)
I hope you have a wonderful trip,Rachel and hope your eye is healing.
I know you must be so proud of your son!
Safe travels.
Joy and blessings to you!
Margie:)
Thank your son for doing what he is doing to help keep us free and safe.
Hi Margie,
I beat the sun up this morning and taking the time to finish up on packing and the mixing of a few last minute products.
Thank you for all your comments and the sharing of your story of your husband and yourself. It is true that the men and women of the military put themselves in danger all the time, even when it is not high publicized by the media. They do work to keep us safe. In reality
the forces of good and evil are always doing battle and as sad as that is you can only that good reigns and our children and children's will find a better and safer future because of those who were willing to give of their time and life.
I also wanted to thank you for your concern,I have been careless trying to get so much work done on the soaps before I leave and that is no excuse for not being responsible in the safety dept. The eye is healing amazingly well, that it even surprises me from one day to the next how much swelling has come down.
I also appreciate the well wishes for travel, it is a good many hours over the road but definitely worth it as I have been imagining the changes in my son and can't wait to see him. I am proud of him and his choice to serve our country.
I am happy that you find time to read and enjoy some of my writing. I figure there is a enough negativity in the world the escape into the world of poetry is for me a place of peace.
Sincerely
Rachel
