Forever Love

So much has been written or sung about forever love. What combination of words are left to be formed to celebrate forever love?  My love for you is forever beyond the beyond. For you are undeniably one with  my heart and soul.

Till the sun falls from the sky
and the heavens no longer exist,
beyond this earthly form
like a breath of autumn mist.

I will forever love you
in the context beyond time,
as nothing  can separate
the two souls so entwined.

From the moment I awake
till I am deep within sleep,
you are all that is on mind
and always in my dreams.

Till the sun falls from the sky
and the heavens no longer exist,
beyond this earthly form
like a breath of autumn mist.

While gazing out the window at the fall mix of rain and snow, my mind drifted as it does each day to you. Though the view seems the same and the flowers have sometime ago faded away the vision that filled my mind was that of a full summer day. Taking your hand as you pull me close and we dance in a cloud like dream. Surreal the image and yet as real as the love I keep safely tucked away within my heart.

The image haunting,
as tears quickly arise,
I'm safe in your arms
if only in my mind.

I refused to open my eyes,
less your image might disappear,
taking a deep breath and exhaling
as the moment we share.

Across the rivers
beyond the mountains high
our love soars the heavens,
as we battle the distance
and time.

~
I don't wanna wake up
I don't wanna get out of bed,
I just wanna snuggle and
dream of you my friend.

I don't wanna wake up
I don't wanna get out of bed,
I just wanna stay in the moment
on the clouds where our souls
transcend.

Seasons of Love

The rain is falling,
the hills no longer green,
another season has passed
documenting what you mean
to me.

You are sunshine of my summer
the many colors of my fall
you're the arms that hold me
through winter, until spring
comes to call.

~
I teeter like a tightrope walker on endings and beginnings,
leaning towards you...falling into your arms.
