I have always hated driving over the old two lane bridge leading to Uniontown. It's one of those bridges with no room for error. Today going and coming I felt a comfort zone driving. One I had not experienced before today. It could be I was conditioned to the route or that the road experience finally gave me a certain amount of confidence. But it seems that confidence in all parts of life initiate a strong well being.
While driving down the road, you have no time but to think. The air warm and blowing ever so slightly through the car window found my mind traveling. Sometimes it was a song, a place or a cloud. It was like bouncing from one period of time to the next.
I made choices,
I chose the road,
traveling where
few dare to go.
I felt the love,
deep in my heart
and I know you
were with me from
the start.
I made choices,
I chose the road,
traveling where
few dare to go.
Took to the heavens,
danced on clouds,
held your hand
and watched you smile
I made choices,
I chose the road,
traveling where
few dare to go.
Over mountains,
rivers and seas,
as long as you
are with me I
have all that
I need.
