Poem a day...

I gazed into the night sky,
the stars were shining bright.
The moon reflecting over the
river, like crystal of the night.

I said goodbye to yesterday,
one rose a  day I lay, to
count the memories in my
heart that will forever remain.

I gazed into the night sky,
the stars were shining bright.
The moon reflecting over the
river, like crystal of the night.

I don't know who left
the script of life at my door,
nor do I know what tomorrows
 chapters have in store.

I filed the pages accordingly
and in my heart they stay,
from a varied set of emotions
and the dreams that came our way.

It wasn't what I expected and I
don't know what to say, except
that we hold no reigns on tomorrow,
they to will fade away.

~
From my lips the words of love,
from my heart the songs of yesterday,
From my lips the words of love,
from my soul the chance to be the one.

From my lips the words of love,
from my heart the songs of yesterday.
From my lips the words of love,
from my soul the to be the one.

The one who kisses you, the one who
loves you, the one who whispers goodnight.
The one who kisses you, the one who
loves you, the one who whispers goodnight.

Sun chokes return
and under the sun
they grow, reaching
to the heavens a
new season to show.

Little surprises,
catch ya off guard,
bringing gifts of nature,
like a glimpse at nightly
stars.

My heart quivered,
my soul blazed a fire
as I counted all my
blessing, hour by hour.

There were many days,
I wish I cold have held still,
but just like climbing mountains,
there is a new day over each hill.

My Lonely Pillow

I lay upon the pillow,
lonely am I, needing
your arms to cuddle
by your side.

I lay upon the pillow,
waiting for the next
dream and wondering
if in your thoughts,
you are thinking of me.

I lay upon the pillow,
staring into the sky,
watching the stars
twinkle as clouds
go by.

I lay upon the pillow,
and tightly close my
eyes as I try to hold
you in my heart
with the power of
the mind.

I lay upon the pillow,
and I pull the blankets
close as I pluck the
petals on a rainbow
rose.

I lay upon the pillow
and weary this soul,
that reached in the
darkness to feel your
hold.
